the live check
Run a live interview check.
Here's an open role you're hiring for - the kind proxies and deepfakes target. Prove the candidate in front of you is really them.
Round 1 · live interview
Smart Contract Engineer
Crypto exchange · Remote · $190k–$300k + tokens
Prove it's really Jordan 👇
Exactly what the candidate sees before the interview - scan, then point the phone at the pattern. 20 seconds, no app.
Step 1 · open the scanner on your phone
Scan this, or open
…
a fixed link - no personal data, it just launches the scanner.
Step 2 · point your phone at this pattern
session … · refreshes in -s
waking up the camera link…
The face never leaves the phone. Manav keeps only a one-way key that says "same person" - never a photo. Nothing to breach, nothing to phish.
A real, live human - confirmed ✨
That's round one for Jordan, captured as a baseline.
one-way identity key
…
🧬 This is the moment that matters. Next round, the same person reproduces this key and you see "same person ✓". A swapped face - a proxy, a deepfake stand-in - flips it and you get "⚠ different person" before you ever extend an offer.
The verify event tail - every candidate either clears the human check or gets flagged. Identities are one-way handles; raw data never leaves the device.

why now
Hiring became a fraud surface.
Remote, high-trust roles plus cheap deepfakes turned "is this candidate even real?" into a live question. The numbers moved fast.

the difference
Continuity, not just identity.
Background checks verify a history. Video tools confirm a face is on the call. Almost nothing cheaply proves it's the same human across every round and into day one. That's the wedge.
🧬
Same human, every round
One round-one face key, checked against every later round. A proxy or stand-in flips the key and surfaces instantly.
✓ "same person ✓" or "⚠ different person", per round
🔒
We never see the face
Matching happens on the candidate's device. Only a one-way key leaves - it can't be reversed into a photo. Built to sidestep the biometric-data liability that caps the incumbents.
✓ on-device · minimal retention by design
🚫
Nothing to phish
The Beam carries no URL or link - the pattern does the secure handoff. The whole "scan this QR" phishing channel is removed, not patched.
✓ URL-free, quishing-proof pairing
🤝
Two-sided trust
The candidate can verify the employer too - killing the fake-recruiter scams that one-sided tools ignore. Identity checks candidates don't resent.
✓ verifies both sides of the table
🗂️ Background check + video call: confirms a person exists and a face is present - not that it's the same one each time.
🧬 Manav: the same verified human across every round and into onboarding, gating the final ID match.
how it works
Calm for them. Decisive for you.
1
Candidate opens a linkOn their laptop, before the interview. A Beam pattern appears - no install, no account.
2
Phone does a face checkThey point their phone at the Beam and follow ~20 seconds of liveness prompts. The face stays on-device.
3
You see continuityYour dashboard shows "same person" or "⚠ different person" per round, and prompts an ID match at the final stage.

objections, answered
The questions you're already asking.
Won't a face scan scare off good candidates?
It's deliberately calm: a 20-second glance, no app, no account, and their face never leaves their phone. Candidate experience is a buying criterion in hiring, so we built the check to feel premium - not hostile. Candidates can verify the employer back, which flips the usual power dynamic.
Do you store biometric data? What about BIPA / GDPR?
No face image or template ever leaves the candidate's device - matching is on-device and only a one-way key is recorded, which can't be reversed into a face. That minimal-retention, on-device posture is designed specifically to reduce biometric-law exposure. For a POC we'll walk through consent and data handling with your legal team.
How is this different from a background check?
Background checks verify a person's history. Manav verifies that the same human shows up to every interview round and into day one, then gates a government-ID match at the final stage. It rides alongside your existing ATS, video and screening tools - it doesn't replace them.
Can it stop a real-time deepfake?
The live liveness check raises the bar, and the continuity signal catches the common attack - a different face appearing between rounds or at onboarding. For the strongest assurance against a sophisticated adversary we pair it with device-bound verification and the final ID match; we'll scope the right tier to your threat model in the POC.
What does a POC look like?
We turn on a free continuity check for one open role, you run a couple of candidates through it, and you see the dashboard - including the "⚠ different person" flag - on your own pipeline. No procurement marathon to find out if it's worth it.
